My dearest gentlest reader, I missed you. I hope your days are as fresh as daisies and as fun as a summer breeze.
When I used to binge-watch the Big Bang Theory without a care in the world, I stumbled upon one of Chuck Lorre’s Vanity Cards. These are one-second end-of-show segments. I was rushing to turn off the lights when it caught my eye with its bright light. I am used to seeing end credits with company names.
The vanity card made me chuckle because Lorre was complaining while making it humorous. It made me think that if I ever created art in the form of literature, I would want to include a vanity card. It would be a way to share my personal perspectives or thoughts in the moment, just like Lorre does.
My binge-watching escapades turned into something I look forward to, especially Chuck Lorre’s sitcoms. They are my guilty pleasures that I indulge in once in a while.
That's why each issue of The Storyteller's Byte Tales features a different "vanity card" at the start.
