I got the pleasure of speaking at PyCascades in Portland! I enjoyed the conference, and people were great. I liked the fact that we could go out during lunch because that meant trying different spots. Their name tags are perfect! A lot of people had already started customizing them with the color markers they had provided, but I decided to keep mine as is.
A highlight was being able to take photos in the photo booth. I got the chance to take one with my dear friend Tammy and some of the organizers too. I highly recommend attending the conference at least once. Next year, the conference will be in Vancouver; keep checking out their Mastodon to stay up to date.
